Walking Wapping Warm-up: Knees

wawawa-kneesThe Walking Wapping Warm-up series continues. So far, we've done:

Time to switch to some lower-body focus as we complete the first half of the warm-up. Yes, it's time for some knees!

Knees are a great part of the warm-up. The way we perform them here is similar to a Muay Thai style and get plenty of the body involved. Don't just go through the motions; do these right and you'll really start feeling warmed up!

rd-knee-to-groinIf you'd like to see more about knees, this time from a self-defense perspective, check out the free Ready Defense video, starring Sensei Hutch, and written, produced, and directed by yours truly.

Find it here:

Ready Defense: Front Knee

(I also appear in the video, looking a little bit younger--and skinnier--and taking a lot of abuse. Brings back some painful memories.)

Till next time...be seeing you.
