What's New at StrongFast?

Do you really need to ask what's new? Our newsletter format, of course! Still working out a few kinks, and this page will likely change a bit in the future, but it's still the same dazzling Planet content you're used to, only snazzier. Plus, you can comment below! (Might be some delay while we run through spam-checking...can't be too careful these days!)

So let us know what you think. Plenty more new stuff is a-comin'!

"I met a friend jogging in the park.
Well, he was jogging and I was sitting on a bench."

Rowing MachineEric Cressey has a post at t-nation with some interval workouts on the rowing machine. Nothing earth-shaking, and I don't like his giving short shrift to technique, but his comment on a 2k test is spot on: "This was one of the top three most awful experiences I've had with exercise." I'll second that.
high heelsAnd one from Greg Robins at Cressey's site about how to counteract wearing high heels. Hmmm...who could that be for? If you wear them all the time, there's really no way to undo the damage. But for occasional wearers, it's worth a look.

Hummus Label
Looking for a healthy dip? Let's see how this one looks. Nothing unpronounceable on the ingredients list. It's even almost all recognizable food stuff, with the exception of guar gum (which really isn't so bad...it comes from beans).
On to the nutrition label. How much sugar? Hmm...not even enough to put on the label. Sweet! (Not literally.) Some protein, more fat, some carbs...a nice mix. Just don't ruin it by dipping in chips or something icky. Goes great with carrots!
