Walking Wapping Warm-up: Front Kicks

front kickThe Walking Wapping Warm-up continues. For reference purposes, here's a recap of what we've covered so far.

We now focus on the lower body for the rest of the way.

This is the front kick, performed kind of like a push kick for the martial artists out there. But it's easy enough to do. As always, doing it right counts! So here are the details.

Remember not to overdo it with this one, especially if you're really cold (and in desperate need of a warm-up!). It's easy to get carried away and try to kick too high. Focus on your form. It's good to feel a bit of a stretch on the hamstring with the kick, but not a lot of tightness and certainly not pain.

As noted in the video, you might want to do this one twice, especially since they can go fast as the front kick covers a lot of ground.

Two moves to go!

Be seeing you.
